This chalet lodge at a farm, near Shipston-on-Stour, Warwickshire, was installed to provide a comfortable new home for the owner’s recently married son and his wife.

A key requirement of the project was to ensure easy access for the family, including the owner’s mother, who uses a wheelchair. To achieve this, we designed and installed a fully accessible decking system with disabled access provisions, allowing safe and convenient entry to the chalet.

The structure was built using a durable aluminium subframe, providing a long-lasting, low-maintenance solution. Antique Oak composite decking boards were selected to create a warm, natural appearance, complemented by Gale Grey balustrading and matching skirting around the entire chalet. The finished installation delivers a stylish and practical outdoor living space that enhances both the appearance and accessibility of the property.
